This week in charts: Rihanna is denied a No. 1 album yet again, beat out not by Nickelback or Mary J. Blige - also released last week - but by a Michael Buble Christmas album released more than a month ago. Seventh time’s a charm, Ri.
In the tightest race for No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in four years, Buble’s “Christmas” sold just over 227,000 - ahead of Nickelback’s “Here and Now,” which sold a bit under 227,000, by a tiny 0.18% margin.
As for Rihanna, she debuted at No. 3 this week with “Talk That Talk,” which sold 197,000 copies.
